Birstall is a large village located on the northern outskirts of Leicester, eight miles south of Loughborough and bisected by the main A6.
On the eastern side is the large Watermead Country Park - an attractive nature reserve containing several lagoons and an ideal spot for birdwatching, walking and angling.
